Delta Dental of Oklahoma has released a new, statewide initiative to motivate younger kids to have on mouth guards when playing athletics.
The Delta Dental of Oklahoma Basis will give away mouth guards to athletes ages 10 and beneath who participate in organized sporting activities leagues in Oklahoma.
“Youth athletics are greatly valuable for children, but they do not occur with out hazards to a child’s smile,” explained Delta Dental of Oklahoma President and CEO John Gladden. “Mouth guards are an underutilized way to reduce the risk of athletics accidents, which include tooth loss.
